NUS Requirement on Safety, Health and Emergency Management (Canvas - OSHGEN03) To be completed within 1 month upon joining the University
Online Fire Safety Training Course (Canvas - OSHFS01) To be completed within 1 month upon joining the University
Laboratory Safety Induction Training (Canvas - OSHGEN01) To be completed prior to performing activites in the laboratory
Respiratory Protection Programme Training (Canvas - OSHGEN04) To educate staff on correct use of respirators
New Laboratory Staff Induction Programme To be completed within 2 weeks of joining the Department.
Conducted by PI, Senior Manager, Floor Manager and Safety Leads.
Fire Safety Education Course All staff who are handling PFM
Lab-specific Training (Approach respective lab's PI/LT-in-charge) Staff performing activites that are specific to the individual PI's lab.
For ALL Laboratory Staff
Biosafety for BSL-2 Laboratories (Canvas - OSHBIO08) Refresher every 3 years.
Chemical Safety (Canvas - OSHCHM01) Refresher every 3 years.
Fire Safety Refresher Refresher every 3 years.
Respiratory Protection Programme Training for returning users (Canvas - OSHGEN05) Refresher annually
