  3. A Dual Door Handle System

    A dual door handle system for wooden laboratory doors without card access system - to differentiate between “clean” and “dirty” door handles. This was implemented on January 2016 Department of Microbiology & Immunology

  4. Safety features for the Department Chemical Room

    Five safety features were added to the Department Chemical Room at MD4 level 1 for better monitoring and safe usage. Implemented on 25 May 2016 by our Department Chemical Safety Team.

  5. Department Off-site & On-site Business Continuity Plan (BCP)

    Established on 5 Sep 2016

  6. 'New Lab Staff Induction Programme' checklist

    Created and Implemented on 23 Sep 2016

  7. Department Card Access Request Application Form

    Revised the Card Access Request Application Form for working after office hours. Created and Implemented on 23 Sep 2016

2015

  1. ASHPA 2014/2015, Commitment Award of $10,000
  2. NUS Building Fire Safety Compliance Platinum Award in 2015

  3. Bio-Safety Transport Trolley

    A new Bio-safety Transport Trolley was designed and fabricated. It has 12 safety features on Biological, Ergonomics and General Safety. Launched on 25 Nov 2015 by our Department Biological Safety Team.
