Architect Mr Jean Francois Milou will share the process of designing and creating the acclaimed National Gallery Singapore. This will give an insight of an architect’s work and the challenges faced in such a large project. He will focus on how the unity of the space, the consistency of material, and light, can provide a reassuring feeling of place to the visitor. There, one can wander and meditate in the architectural landscape. He will share how this experience of creating spaces can be translated into designing the hospitals and clinics of tomorrow.
