Eligibility Criteria for the MBBS Intercalated Year Programme

Master of Science (Research)

• NUS Medicine undergraduate medical students who have completed Year 4 of the MBBS at the point of enrolment
• Outstanding achievements in Research
• Strong recommendation from two academic referees
• Good academic standing
• Only Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents may apply

Master of Public Health

• NUS Medicine undergraduate medical students who have completed Year 4 of the MBBS at the point of enrolment
• Good performance in Community Health Project (CHP)
• Strong recommendation from two academic/professional referees
• Good academic standing

Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics (by Coursework)

• NUS Medicine undergraduate medical students who have completed Year 4 of the MBBS at the point of enrolment
• Skilled in Qualitative Sciences
• Strong recommendation from two academic/professional referees
• Good academic standing

Application Procedure

1. Submit an IYP application here. The IYP Selection Committee will review all applications, and shortlisted candidates will be notified by end December 2023.
2. Shortlisted candidates will also need to submit an application to the corresponding faculty/department. More information will be provided upon shortlisting.
