Programme Highlights

Organised by the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Department of Pharmacology, this course aims to improve the existing knowledge and skills gap of pharmaceutical sales representatives and other non-clinical pharmaceutical professionals, in communicating evidence-based information on pharmaceutical products.

Participants will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills in key areas of basic pharmacological knowledge, searching and evaluation of scientific literature, and effective dissemination of relevant clinical data such as drug adverse effects and efficacy to healthcare professionals.

Participants will be able to gain greater trust during their engagement with healthcare professionals, who are then provided with timely and accurate information to make optimal prescription decisions for their patients. This maximises treatment efficacy and minimizes drug adverse effects and morbidity.

  • Communicate the evidence behind the marketing materials of the pharmaceutical products they represent

Who Should Attend

  • Medical liaison officers
