In more recent years during the great healthcare challenge of our time, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought innovation to the fore – from government efforts to trace and contain the pandemic, to the management of clinical data, to the race to accelerate the development of treatments and vaccines that can end it. The programme will provide you with an overview of the processes by which a medical product reaches the market via the different facets of venture creation. Using the concept of design thinking, you can work together as a team to apply the knowledge and skills to develop business models and commercialisation pathways for innovative medical technologies.
