About Association of Academic Health Centers International (AAHCI)

The Association of Academic Health Centers International (AAHCI) is a member-based association founded as a subsidiary to the U.S.-based Association of Academic Health Centers (AAHC). Membership in AAHCI is focused on bringing together institutions that serve the academic health centre mission along with a global vision of advancing and applying knowledge to enhance health and well-being worldwide.

AAHCI has launched Regional Offices around the world for the coordination of its activities based on regional boundaries. The Regional Office allows for the facilitation of regional networking opportunities, data analysis and reports and the exchange of best practices in Southeast Asia. In Southeast Asia, the first Regional Office was set up at the National University of Singapore (NUS) from 2014 – 2018. The current Regional Office is hosted at Universitas Indonesia.
