Programme Highlights

This course intends to bridge the gap between theory and actual clinical practice, and to enable residents to have guided hands-on practice prior to performing on living human eyes.

The course is aimed to provide residents with a realistic experience to prepare them for future surgeries. There will be trainers (experienced Ophthalmology surgeons) onsite who will guide residents through these procedures including trabeculectomies, strabismus surgery and oculoplastics procedures such as ptosis repair. Residents will have plenty of guided hands-on opportunities to practice and enhance their skills, and at the same time go through the anatomy of the human eye.

  • Develop and improve knowledge and skills in dissection
