Associate Professor Lina Lim appointed Assistant Dean (Enterprise)

Associate Professor Lim Hsiu Kim, Lina has been appointed as Assistant Dean for Enterprise at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, with effect from 1 October 2020.
Assoc Prof Lim is from the NUS Medicine Department of Physiology and is also the Principal Investigator of the Inflammation & Cancer Laboratory in the Immunology Programme, Life Sciences Institute. She is the Research Director of the Department and the NUS Medicine Immunology Programme. A Fellow at Tembusu College, UTown since 2011, she teaches multidisciplinary seminar modules including Forensic Science and Biomedicine and Singapore Society.
Assoc Prof Lim graduated with an undergraduate degree in Pharmacology from King’s College London. She received her PhD training in 2000 at the William Harvey Research Institute in London and was a post-doctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University Medical School in Baltimore, USA. She returned to Singapore in 2003 as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physiology, NUS and was made an Associate Professor in 2010. The main focus of her research programme is on Annexins and their functions in inflammation and cancer.
In her new role as Assistant Dean (Enterprise), she will help lead the efforts in streamlining NUS Medicine Administration, developing policies and SOPs, as well as supporting the School in the adoption of the one NUHS culture.
