The Division of Upper Gastrointestinal (UGI) Surgery has a long history of providing high quality and cutting edge treatment for benign (non-cancerous) and malignant (cancerous) conditions of the oesophagus, stomach and duodenum, in addition to bariatric and metabolic surgery for morbid obesity. The UGI team is also very active in basic science and translational research and aims to integrate scientific advances with clinical practice to provide the best possible care for our patients.
