PROGRAMME DETAILS

Applications are open to doctors from ASEAN countries for the Lee Foundation and Tan Sri Dr Runme Shaw Fellowship tenable in Singapore. The Fellowship will cover: 

  • a six-month clinical attachment at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, National University Hospital or the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Singapore General Hospital. The training can either be in (i) Orthopaedic Surgery or (ii) Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery 
  • temporary medical registration fee 
  • medical protection insurance fees 
  • return economy class airfare 
  • living allowance of SGD2,000.00 per month 
  • application fee for the fellowship

FOUR awards are available each year. The Fellowship programme is funded by the Shaw Foundation and Lee Foundation. This Fellowship fund is made available through the College of Surgeons, Singapore, and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
