Important Notes
  • PSEA withdrawals are non-reversible. Once processed, the withdrawn amount cannot be returned to the PSEA. Please ensure that the withdrawn amount is correct.
  • The following scenarios are not permitted:
    1. Request a refund of fees after self-payment to DGMS.
    2. Submit a PSEA application after successful payment of fees.

Guide for Applying for PSEA Funds Using the Ad Hoc Withdrawal Form

The Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) is a government savings scheme in Singapore that supports students in paying for approved courses, programmes, and associated fees. Please refer to Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) | MOE for more information and regulations.

 Before Applying for PSEA
  1. Verify PSEA Eligibility
  • Confirm whether your examination fees, course fees, or related charges are eligible for PSEA claims.
  • Check if PSEA may be used in conjunction with other training or reimbursement schemes, where applicable.
  1. Check Your PSEA Balance
  1. Ensure You Have Been Offered a Placement
  • You must receive an official offer of placement in the programme before submitting a PSEA application.
  1. Inform the Officer-in-Charge of the Programme
  • Provide the following information:
    • Your intention to use PSEA funds
    • The exact amount you plan to utilise from your PSEA balance

REMINDER:
PSEA applications should only be submitted after you have been offered a placement and before making any fee payment to the Division of Graduate Medical Studies (DGMS).
