Research

In NUS Nursing, we believe research and learning are in parallel and can complement to each other. Our faculty strives to conduct impactful research and high-quality teaching to transform the clinical practice and improve health around the world.

Our research at NUS nursing has been excellent in the following five programmes:

  • Chronic Illness and Long-term Care programme establishes a research focus to not only add years to life, but life to years.
  • Education Innovation programme seeks collaborative research in nursing education and innovative approaches for excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Geriatric Care and Wellness programme develops interventions and delivers education to promote healthy aging and community care for elderly.
  • Patient Safety and Quality Care focuses on the clinical deterioration, collaborative practice, and nursing workforce development.
  • Women and Children Health Care focuses primarily on the health issues among pregnant women, infant, and young children.
