Scholarships


The majority of successful applicants in previous cohorts were sponsored by employer organisations in the healthcare, social service and community sectors. Interested applicants may consider applying directly to a number of different scholarship organizations. The terms, benefits and length of employment bond may vary.

Some of the potential scholarship organisations in Singapore are listed below.

Healthcare Sector

(1) Ministry of Health (MOH) Holdings and healthcare clusters:
- MOH Holdings (MOHH)
- National Healthcare Group (NHG)
- SingHealth
- National University Health System (NUHS)

(2) Individual hospitals may sometimes also provide scholarships.


Social Service Sector

This sector includes special education schools, early intervention programmes, homes for people with disabilities, and many agencies serving children and adults in the community.

Workforce Singapore (WSG) Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Speech Therapists:

In partnership with Workforce Singapore (WSG), NUS administers the Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Speech Therapists, offered to eligible candidates who have been offered a place in the SLP programme, and is subject to funding approval before each intake.
