Human pluripotent stem cells such as donor-derived human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) are now widely used for disease modelling, drug screening and certainly cell replacement therapy. Asst Prof. Adrian Teo will discuss basic knowledge on stem cells, patient-derived hiPSCs and the broad cell types that they can be differentiated into for understanding human disease..
This course aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to design a database, understand clinical trials and epidemiological designs, perform sample size calculations, perform statistical analysis using Stata and interpret the findings of the results obtained
