Dr Agnes HENSON
Dr Agnes Henson is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Sustainable Medicine, with a background in the optimisation of natural resource usage and sustainable procurement in healthcare. Following a senior modelling position within the clean water and bioresources sectors, she moved into analytics of supply chain emissions associated with the English National Health Service (NHS). Here, she developed a passion for life cycle assessment and modelling of circular economy solutions in MedTech, collaborating with industry, government and academic partners to build and disseminate the evidence base for sustainable procurement decision-making and strategy.
In 2021 Dr Henson co-developed an award-winning solution design to analyse, visualise and optimise end-to-end leakage management and drive sustainable improvement in the clean water sector. She has a background teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in research methods and statistics.
