KAN Rong Hui
Rong Hui is the Head of Operations at the Centre for Sustainable Medicine, where he leads operations for the team.
Prior to working at the Centre, Rong Hui was in a variety of roles in the private and public sectors ranging from strategy and operations to business operations and finance. In all his roles he sought a connection to social impact and sustainability, which brought him to work in a variety of institutions from the Economic Development Board to the World Bank on diverse topics such as inclusive infrastructure, financing wind and solar farms and operationalizing a social impact fund targeted at female entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia. In his first job at the EDB, he helped launch Singapore’s first full-time business analytics master’s degree in collaboration with IBM, which is housed at the NUS School of Computing.
Rong Hui was educated at Peking University and Boston University in Economics, and later did an MBA at HEC Paris. He enjoys connecting with people around the world and fostering collaborations between diverse groups of people to break down perceived barriers.
