This category is meant for any teams who have identified a Clinical Problem or unmet healthcare need they would like to address and working from scratch to devise a solution. This category focuses on healthcare impact and encourages participants to feature the innovative aspect of their projects.
1st Prize: $20,000, 2nd Prize: $15,000, 3rd Prize: $10,000

Open
This category is meant for the following teams:
- Local teams working on projects initiated by local Tech Mentors.
- International teams working on projects in collaboration with a Tech Mentor
- Teams working on projects used previously for other competitions.
In addition to healthcare impact and innovation, this category will also place focus on the marketing and viability.
