Young Scholar Award

Presenters of abstracts selected for the Free Communications session will also be eligible for the Young Scholar Award if they are below 35 years old of age as at 12 Jan 2022.

The award will be decided by the judges and it will be announced during the closing ceremony.

Please indicate during abstract submission if you would like to be considered for the Young Scholar Award. If you do not wish to be considered for this award, you will still be considered for the other awards (e.g. Best Oral Presenter, etc.) as per the previous conferences.

Bursary

A limited number of free registrations to the main conference are available to participants from the countries listed below. Only participants who have submitted an abstract that is accepted for presentation at the conference will be considered. Free registration is given only to the first author and is not transferable.

Please email your application to the APMEC secretariat at apmec_abstract@nus.edu.sg by 21 July 2021, after you have submitted your abstract. Please include the title of your abstract and abstract ID in your application. Late applications will not be considered. Successful applicants will be notified via email. The Organising Committee's decision is final.

Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Bolivia, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Ecuador, Fiji, Ghana, Guyana, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lithuania, Moldova, Myanmar, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Peru, Romania, Samoa, Sri Lanka, Sub-Saharan Africa, Timor Leste, Uzbekistan.
