For the past two decades, Prof Too has played a tremendous role in strengthening life sciences research and development in Singapore. His steadfast dedication to biomedicine and wholesome attention to nurturing new talent in the field has helped grow the biotechnology industry in Singapore. As the co-founder of MiRXES, a biotech firm and several other companies, A/Prof Too says that it is his desire to save lives that motivates him to pursue research in the life sciences. 

“I live my life by four principles. Work hard, play hard, die hard – which means don’t give up easily, have grit,” he said. “The fourth principle is, wherever you are, make sure you do good.”
