TREX Grant Call 2023 (August)

We would like to invite you to the upcoming Translation Exchange (TREX) club meeting, to be held on Wednesday 16^th August, 6pm. As illustrated below, TREX club meetings are held to facilitate collaboration between researchers from Cancer Science Institute (CSI), NUS Centre for Cancer Research (N2CR) and National University Cancer Institute (NCIS). Projects discussed at the meeting will be eligible for funding and will be selected by vote.

Time: 6pm

Venue: MD6-13-02N – CeTM – L13 conference room (13-02N)

Funding Details:

• SGD 30,000 per project for a 1-year period
• 3 projects will be eligible for funding at this grant call
• For this call, funding will be made available to researchers/clinicians from CSI, N2CR and NCIS (Dept. of Pathology)
• Three grant calls will be made this financial year

Key selection criteria:

• New collaboration between a CSI researcher and NCIS researcher (preferred over existing collaborations).
• New collaboration between a N2CR researcher and NCIS researcher (preferred over existing collaborations).
• Utilizes novel biology/ technology from CSI/N2CR, for a clinically relevant scenario.
• Potential to be completed within a year and form the nucleus for a larger collaborative grant.
• Final approval for selected project from Directors of CSI, N2CR and NCIS.
