We are seeking a full-time post-doctoral fellow in the leukemia biology laboratory of Dr. Shruti Bhatt in the Department of Pharmacy at the National University of Singapore, Singapore. We are looking for candidates who share our excitement to develop new insights about cancer biology with an ultimate goal to develop new treatment approaches. Projects will be fit with candidates experience and specific interests. Areas of interest include uncovering contribution of tumor microenvironment in driving leukemia therapy resistance.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated PhD, MD, or MD, PhD that has a record of stellar productivity during graduate training and is looking for a first post-doctoral position. The candidate must have excellent ability to communicate in written and spoken English.
Skills
Ideal but not required bench skills include tumor immunology assays, flow cytometry, standard molecular and cell biology techniques. Mouse experiment experience would be an advantage but is not required. Technical knowledge/experience in T-cell immunology techniques would be an added advantage. Additional training in bioinformatics and programming skills (DNA, RNA, epigenetic) will be considered favorable. Candidate should be able to undertake independent research and be an effective team player.
