We are delighted to announce the promotion of Prof Tan Soo-Yong and Prof Ng Siok Bian from the Department of Pathology, NUS Medicine, to full Professors — a well-deserved recognition of their outstanding contributions to research, education, and clinical care.

Prof Tan is internationally acclaimed for redefining the understanding of lymphoma pathology and shaping the future of pathology education. Prof Ng is a leading authority on Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV)-associated lymphomas, pioneering molecular insights and advancing diagnostic precision. Both serve as Senior Consultants at the National University Hospital (NUH), with Prof Tan also serving as Research Director at A*STAR’s Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB), and Prof Ng as Research Director at the Dept of Pathology, NUHS. Their work continues to inspire progress in cancer research and patient care.
