Antimicrobial resistance is an escalating global healthcare crisis. Our researchers employ multiple approaches to study bacterial AMR, focusing on different organisms such as Enterobacterales species, Staphylococcus aureus, Acinetobacter baumanni and others. Research spans from fundamental and translational understanding of AMR resistance, transmission and interplay within microbial communities, to novel preclinical strategies against AMR, and novel clinical drug trial designs.
