Evolution of sarbecoviruses including SARS-CoV-2: beyond G2P-Japan

Apr 7, 2025
MD4 level 2 Seminar Room (MD4-02-03E)

Abstract:

To rapidly characterize the virological properties of emerging SARS-CoV-2 variants, I established the Genotype to Phenotype Japan (G2P-Japan) Consortium. Working alongside my colleagues in G2P-Japan, we have analyzed and identified key virological features of these variants. In this talk, I will provide a brief overview of our consortium’s research activities and explore opportunities for international collaboration to address future outbreaks and pandemics.
