About the Project

The AI longevity project led by Dr Zongmin Liu, is advancing anti-ageing drug discovery using AI-driven approaches. We are at a critical stage, leveraging technologies like the WormBot AI system to accelerate longevity research. All positions require full-time, on-site participation at our Singapore facility.

Available Positions

Interns

Local Undergraduate Students

  • Location: Based in Singapore
  • Status: Currently enrolled undergraduate students
  • Commitment: Full-time, on-site work required
  • Interest: Anti-ageing research and AI applications
  • Duration: Minimum 3-6 months commitment

Final Year Project (FYP) Students

Local Undergraduates

  • Status: Final year undergraduate students
  • Location: Local students only
  • Commitment: Full-time, on-site research
  • Project: Thesis/capstone project opportunity
  • Duration: Academic year commitment

Visiting Scholars

International Researchers

  • Status: International PhD students or postdocs
  • Visa: Must arrange appropriate visa for Singapore
  • Commitment: Full-time, on-site research required
  • Duration: 6-12 months preferred
  • Background: Strong research experience in relevant fields

Research Opportunities

Wet Lab Research

  • Conduct experiments with C. elegans (worm) models
  • Utilise the WormBot AI system for high-throughput screening
  • Learn advanced laboratory techniques in longevity research
  • Contribute to drug screening and validation studies
  • Perform lifespan and healthspan assays
  • Collaborate on interdisciplinary AI-biology projects

Computational Research

  • Develop and optimise AI models for longevity research
  • Analyse large-scale biological datasets
  • Work with machine learning algorithms for drug discovery
  • Process and interpret experimental data from WormBot systems
  • Build predictive models for anti-aging interventions
  • Collaborate on data pipeline development

Who We're Looking For

  • Academic Background: Biology, computational biology, data science, computer science, bioinformatics, or related fields
  • Technical Skills: Experience with programming (Python/R preferred), statistical analysis, or wet lab techniques
  • Availability: Able to commit to full-time, on-site work in Singapore
  • Research Interest: Passionate about anti-ageing research and AI applications in biology
  • Collaboration: Enthusiastic about working in an interdisciplinary team environment
  • Communication: Strong English proficiency for international collaboration
