Prof Lohmann is Chairman, Dept of Orthopaedic Surgery, Otto-von-Guericke University, Magdeburg, Germany. He is a total joint arthroplasty and oncology surgeon with a special interest in research on osteolysis, periprosthetic tissue responses to wear debris from failed arthroplasties, immunomodulation of periprosthetic tissues, corrosion and wear at modular interfaces etc.

 

The 2016 V K Pillay Lecture titled "Challenges in Arthroplasty in the 21st Century" will be held at 7.30 am on Tuesday, 19 April 2016 in the NUHS Auditorium.
