"The Evidence Against Evidence - Based Medicine (and A Logical Alternative)"
Synopsis:
‘Evidence’ is based on publications, whose acceptance, in turn, is subject to personal biases and the caliber of the editors, market-pressure of producing a complete issue at regular intervals and sometimes political issues between institutes and authors.
In many situations evidence-based medicine, by itself can be hostile to innovation and may negate novel insights.
Dr Robert N Hotchkiss provides a thought provoking look into the fallacies within the concept of evidence-based medicine and highlights the role of logic, analysis and critical thinking.
