Research Interests and Achievements

My research work spans the spectrum of Ocular Surface and Orbital disease, as well as that of Ophthalmic Trauma and in the areas of General Ophthalmology and Epidemiology, having previously collaborated with the Cochrane Eye and Vision group.


To date, I work with partners from the Regional Health System, nationally and regional partners in the aspect of community eye care and screening work, which has seen its evolution from screening events, to the Enabling Care, Enabling Community Programme and most recently the exciting advent of Project Silver Screen (Functional Screening Programme) in partnership with the Silver Generation Office and Community eye clinics. I too believe that vision care is not limited to the sighted, and also dedicate part of my time to serving on the Low Vision team.


As part of the undergraduate education team, I serve as a Clinical Tutor for both Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, as well as continue in my capacity as Clinical Lead and Tutor for the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
