Dr Tan Yung Ming is a physician by training who transitioned into health IT and medical informatics as hospitals moved towards digitalisation in the early 2000s. With over two decades of experience, he has spearheaded several large scale electronic medical record (EMR) and clinical system implementations in Singapore and in the Asia-Pacific region. He has held senior leadership roles in organisations such as IHIS, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, IBM Watson and Synapxe, where he combined medical expertise with technology leadership to drive clinical practice improvements.
