MSc in BMI Student Orientation 2025
The Department of Biomedical Informatics welcomed the Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics AY2526 cohort during Orientation last July, where students got to know their faculty better and learn more about the programme as they embark on their postgraduate studies at DBMI.
Head of DBMI Adj Prof Ngiam Kee Yuan addressed the audience and provided a teaser on what is to come. Dr Aaron Chua shared more about his expertise and NUS-ISS courses, Dr Judice Koh on the Minor in BMI undergraduate courses and pastoral care activities, and Dr Tay Kai Yi on the requirements of a Capstone project. Prof Feng Mengling (NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health) and Prof Seth Gilbert (NUS Computing) joined us virtually to present their respective teaching domains.
Other faculty members in attendance also had the chance to introduce themselves and interact with new students who raised many insightful questions. DBMI looks forward to a great term ahead with the new cohort!
