CRiHSP regularly organizes lectures, seminars, and webinars as delivered by centre staff and invited presenters of international reputation, as well as short courses and formal training opportunities, which will eventually consolidate in a MSc in Health Systems Research. We welcome interested prospective self-funded PhD students. Opportunities for CRiHSP funded PhD fellowships will be announced as they become available.
The CRiHSP Evaluation Fellowship – a collaboration between the Centre for Research in Health Systems Performance (CRiHSP) and Behavioural and Implementation Science Interventions (BISI) at the NUS School of Medicine, and Health Intervention and Policy Evaluation Research (HIPER) at NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health – is an 18-month programme that is designed to nurture and develop promising professionals passionate about improving healthcare delivery through evaluation.
This programme provides exposure to health evaluation research, enabling healthcare professionals to gain a deep understanding of health evaluation methodologies and an opportunity to incorporate health evaluation in their career. At the end of the programme, our Fellows will be poised to be health evaluation leaders with the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to excel in this field.
The programme is open to both clinical and non-clinical professionals within NUHS and NUS Medicine who are interested in health evaluation research. Applicants must have the support of their home department and propose a project that aligns with the department’s priorities.
This part-time Fellowship will be over 18 months.
As part of the programme, Fellows will be trained on the job and will be expected to lead an evaluation project, which will be collaboratively developed and overseen by a team of mentors. They will be supported by experienced experts in evaluation and participate in peer-learning environments to exchange ideas, and solutions to address the respective challenges. This programme will also provide opportunities for Fellows to establish connections with other researchers, healthcare professionals, and policymakers.
