Fadli received B.Sc. in Nuclear Science (Hons.) from National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2009. A short while after graduating, he was appointed as Graduate Research Assistant at School of Applied Physics, UKM to work on development of in-house semi-automated synthesis module, which is used for [¹⁸F]Fluorocholine research projects in the university.

In 2015, he joined CIRC Radiochemistry group as a production radiochemist where he was involved with the early startup of production operations, development and validation of various PET radiotracer as well as training the new production members. He is currently the delegate Head of Production, where he is responsible to coordinate and manage daily production operations.
