Chiam VK graduated from Asian Institute of Medicine, Science and Technology (AIMST University, Malaysia) with a BSc (Hons) Applied Sciences in Materials Technology with Management. Chiam VK is currently the Acting Head of QA / Lead Authorised Person at CIRC and oversees the Quality Assurance operations at CIRC. Some of his major contributions to CIRC include establishing the quality management system, validation & qualification, regulatory affairs, auditing, complaint & recall management, risk management, quality tools, Batch manufacturing record, and training management.

As the Lead Authorised Person at CIRC, Chiam VK’s main responsibility is to ensure that CIRC’s radiopharmaceuticals are safe to release for human subject administration and that all production is in compliance with both the laws in Singapore and in PIC/S GMP.
