Hot Lab

CIRC has a well-equipped hot lab providing a safe environment for work with unsealed radioactive sources. Work carried out in the hot lab includes dispensing of a range of different radiopharmaceuticals and preparation of phantoms for quality control and experimental procedures. The hot lab is equipped with a Capintec CRC-55t dose calibrator for accurate radioactivity measurements.
