Biodata

Xin Jie graduated with a Bachelor of Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry (Hons) at the University of Loughborough, UK in 2014. Xin Jie then joined CIRC in 2015 as a Production Radiochemist.

In his role as a production radiochemist, Xin Jie has been involved in developing and translating multiple radiotracers into clinical production.

He was directly involved in the development, validation, and routine production of Tau protein tracers ([18F] Mk6240) and β-amyloid tracers ([11C] PiB, [18F]NAV4694) for Alzheimer’s disease PET imaging; oncology related tracers for prostate cancer ([68Ga] PSMA, [11C] Acetate] and [18F] FEPPA, a TSPO ligand used as a biomarker for glial activation and neuroinflammation.

Xin Jie has also made a poster presentation at the International Society of Radiopharmaceutical Sciences held in Bejing in 2019 for the work done on [11C] MTO which was a project he was leading.
