Dr. Spahn holds a background in Pharmacy from ETH Zurich and gained early research experience at the Paul Scherrer Institute, where she worked on 177Lu and ¹⁶¹Tb radiolabellings. She subsequently pursued her PhD, specialising in ¹⁸F radiochemistry and the automation of radiolabelling processes using dedicated synthesis modules.
Her work at CIRC focuses on the development and clinical translation of radiotracers, both diagnostic and therapeutic, to advance precision medicine and improve patient care.
