3D Printing Seminar in Healthcare

This seminar is structured to introduce healthcare professionals to the world of 3D printing in healthcare. Participants will gain an understanding of the fundamentals of 3D printing and will have opportunities to apply the content to both bite-sized medtech and education (simulation) applications. The team will also introduce basic skills in the product development process such as design thinking and product considerations. The seminar will be conducted through over 2-days using interactive, hands-on sessions and worked case examples.

Advanced Airway Course

This course is designed to familiarise participants with advanced critical airway management techniques and integrate these skills into the wards and clinical settings. This will be done via lectures as well as hands-on training with practical micro-skills stations and scenario-based simulation with simulators. Please click this link for more details.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Course

This course, accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC), is conducted for the final year medical students as well as other healthcare providers. The trainees gain the knowledge and skills to deploy clinical interventions for the urgent treatment of cardiopulmonary arrest.

Basic Life Support & Pediatric Advanced Life Support (BLS & PALS) Course

This course, accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA), is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. Using the infant and child simulators, the trainees learn about basic live support skills including CPR and AED, to paedritric advance life support skills to manage critically ill infants and children.

Fundamentals & Debriefing in Simulation-Based Healthcare Education

Take your teaching to the next level with this practical, hands-on course designed for healthcare educators who want to enhance learner engagement and outcomes through simulation. Whether you are new to simulation or looking to sharpen your existing skills, this course equips you with the tools, techniques, and confidence to effectively incorporate simulation-based education into your curriculum. Neonatal Resuscitation Course

This course is targeted to healthcare personnel who deal with newborns. The trainees will be equipped with evidence based knowledge and appropriate skill sets to perform optimally both at an individual level as well as part of a team while resuscitating a newborn.

Simulation Faculty Development Workshop – Working with Standardised Patients

This workshop is open to any healthcare professional involved in simulation teaching. You will experience how a simulated patient can fully engage a student in a safe and realistic environment while injecting more fun and realism into your lessons or tutorials.
