¹Eric Holmboe, ²Nicholas Chew and ¹Stanley Hamstra
¹USA and ²Singapore

Workshop Description
The effective use of work-based assessments, those assessments that occur in the course of caring for patients and populations, is essential to the successful implementation of competency-based medical education. The two day course will end with a workshop on designing and implementing assessment programs. Participants will complete an action plan blueprint to help them make changes in their own programs. The course will also come will a toolkit of assessment resources.

  3. Design a faculty development program for work-based assessments
  4. Design a program of assessment using a combination of work-based assessments
