Professional Background

Dr Bino is a medical doctor, with a strong background in Human Anatomy and General Surgery.

His passion for surgery, combined with a desire to serve underprivileged communities, led him to work as a Resident in the Department of General Surgery at Christian Fellowship Hospital (CFH), Oddanchatram, India, for nearly three years. Driven by his deep interest in Anatomy, Dr Bino pursued a master's degree in Anatomy at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore. Upon graduating, he continued to work as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anatomy at CMC, Vellore, for three years. His teaching career began during his postgraduate studies, where his unique approach to explaining embryology through simple terms and hand-drawn illustrations was highly appreciated by students. His postgraduate research focused on immunohistochemistry and electron microscopy, which also sparked his interest in histology. His dissection skills were widely recognized among faculty members and students. In June 2024, he joined the Department of Anatomy at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
