The NUH Department of Anaesthesia hosts Point of Care Ultrasound Workshops that are licensed by the Society of Critical Care Medicine (USA). These workshops are held once or twice a year.

Fundamentals of Point of Care Ultrasound

Focused Cardiac and Lung Ultrasound
About this course
This second course provides an overview of the basics of focused cardiac and lung ultrasound (FCU), including its indications, acquisition of views, interpretation and medical management.

Advanced Cardiac Point of Care Ultrasound
About this course
This third course provides an overview of advanced cardiac point of care ultrasound, focusing on quantitative evaluation of left and right ventricular function, POCUS in Shock and other relevant hemodynamic parameters.
