The National University of Singapore invites applications for Senior Assistant Manager. An appointments will be made on a 1-year contract basis from 2 Jan 2022 for the possibility of an extension for 2-3 years. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic candidate who is able to work together with the Principle Investigator, research staff, and clinical collaborators to provide research support and conduct the research project independently.
Your responsibilities
The incumbent will be providing proactive administrative assistance and support to the NanoMedicine Translational Research Programme (TRP) Director so as to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the office.
- Provide research support to the project and conduct research project independently;
- Provide administrative duties such as maintenance of safety documents and housekeep of wet laboratory and supervising junior research staff or undergraduate students/interns;
- Conduct literature searches, data analysis as well as assist in preparing both progress and final reports of the project;
- Assist with any other duties of a similar nature that are delegated by the PI;
- Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and record-keeping in accordance with policies and procedures;
Qualifications
- Recognized Degree
- Prior experience working in/with a scientific research industry
- Proficient in Microsoft applications and willing to acquire new digital skills
- Sound wrote and verbal communications skills
- Possess maturity and good interpersonal skills
- Independent and good team player
- Have a strong interest to interact with a wide variety of people
