Heartiest congratulations to our faculty members A/Prof Veronique Angeli and A/Prof Zhang Yongliang for winning the School of Medicine Research Excellence Award for 2021! A double win for the department illustrates the high level of science that our teams here are achieving. Both Veronique and Yongliang are also role-model colleagues who are collegial, collaborative and committed to excellence. Veronique is a global expert on the role of macrophages in inflammatory diseases while Yongliang is an authority on MAPK signaling and microbiome research.
