Core Facilities

The Flow Cytometry Laboratory in the LSI Immunology Programme is widely acknowledged as one of the best flow cytometry facilities within Singapore, which is reflected by the volume of work that is performed there. Dr Paul Hutchinson is in charge of the lab, and he has wide experience in all facets of flow cytometry having operated these machines for over 35 years. Besides Dr Hutchinson, the lab staff consists of senior laboratory executive Mr Teo Guo Hui and research assistant Mr Henry Tan. Currently the lab consists of 3 cell sorters; 2 BD FASCFusions and 1 BC Mo-Flo XDP. It also has 3 traditional analysers; BD X-20, BD Fortessa, and ThermoFisher Attune (with autoplate sampler), as well as a 5 laser Cytek Aurora spectral analyser. The lab also has a FlowJo flow cytometry analysis software licence agreement. The lab staff can help and guide you through all aspects of your flow cytometry experiments.
