Fostering inclusivity
Clinical research outreach events transform communities into active participants in the pursuit of medical breakthroughs, ensuring that no one is left behind in the quest for better treatments and therapies. By fostering inclusivity and inspiring the next generation, these events serve as a catalysts for a brighter healthier future for us all.
The study in sudden cardiac failure in athletes is seeking to answer two key questions, which lie at the heart of the study: why do seemingly fit runners suddenly collapse and die? What underlying conditions do these athletes harbour that defy easy detection?
We collaborated with the IronMan Group, organisers of the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon on a long-term study to find the answer to these questions. We recruited more than 1,000 participants for the study.
