Few months have passed since the Department of Pathology, National University Health System (NUHS) organized the NUHS-MD Anderson Pathology Update and the NUHS Haematolymphoid Pathology Course 2018. From the feedback we received, I am very glad to hear that all participants have found the courses to be enjoyable and educational. The following are some of the comments we received:

NUHS Haematolymphoid Pathology Course

• Faculty is enthusiastic. Presentation is excellent.

NUHS-MD Anderson Pathology Update

• This is a very energetic and effective workshop. The histopathology slides seminar is very exciting and thanks to all speakers.

• I really enjoyed the course and learn a lot of new things. The interaction of the faculty and other delegates was another thing which makes this experience memorable.

With your support and encouragement, I am pleased to inform you that we are planning the next edition of workshops for 2019. The NUHS Surgical Pathology Course 2019 will be held from 2nd May (Thu) - 3rd May (Fri), to be followed by the NUHS Haematolymphoid Pathology Course on 4th May (Sat). In response to participants' feedback this year, the NUHS Surgical Pathology Course next year will focus on Soft Tissue Tumour Pathology and Dermatopathology, whilst the theme for the NUHS Haematolymphoid Pathology Course will be Bone Marrow Pathology and Cutaneous Lymphomas.

In addition to local faculty, we will have a number of guest speakers of international acclaim. More details will be provided in due course but so far, confirmed speakers are Prof Lorenzo Cerroni of University of Graz, Austria and Prof Brian Rubin of Cleaveland, Ohio, USA. The conference is scheduled just before the start of Ramadan and we aim to keep the fees low to enable as many of you to attend as possible.
