NIC Web Forum with Ambassador Frank Lavin on “Joe Biden’s first six months”
Moderated by NIC Chairman Professor Kishore Mahbubani, it was an hour well-spent with our former chairman, Ambassador Frank Lavin, who had also served formerly as the US Ambassador to Singapore, Under Secretary for International Trade in the US Department of Commerce, and White House Political Director, amongst his many portfolios. Avoiding the “trap” of projecting his personal political preference, Frank put on his “political scientist” hat and gave our members a report card of the Biden Administration’s performance based on three points of analysis. The forum focused on hot button issues like COVID-19, vaccinations, economic performance, foreign policy, examined the President’s policy priorities and other issues like trade and the US-China relations, etc. A big thank you to all our members and guests for your support at this forum.
