Congratulations to our staff, Pabba Anubharath and Lee Yueh Jia, for winning the 2018 LRFI DATA VISUALIZATION COMPETITION. The Pharmacokinetic simulation models that they developed have been awarded First Prize for the competition. Their winning entry was entitled ‘Dynamic Visualization of Individualized and Population Efficacy-Toxicity Risks with Programmable LED Mannequin and LED Panels’.
Organised by Lloyd’s Register Foundation Institute for the Public Understanding of Risk (LRFI), the inaugural LRFI Data Visualisation Competition is part of a series of activities aimed at developing creative ways to communicate data and information on risk. With better understanding of risk comes better decisionmaking, as the gap between perceived risks and actual risk (i.e. facts versus fear) is bridged.
