Congratulations to our postgraduate student, Mr. Rubin Yong, on being both the overall Winner in the TechLaunch category and the winner of the Audience Choice Award at the E-HIVE event.
On 17 April 2021, Rubin (PhD student under A/Prof Low Chian Ming) took part in the E-HIVE event organized by the Institute for Engineering Leadership as a part of the module MT5913 TechLaunch – Experiential Entrepreneurship. He represented his team to give a pitch about his project “Supra: Portable Perimetry Device”, to a panel of judges that included directors and CEOs of venture capitalist firms and innovation partners. He and his team were awarded both the Audience Choice Award and the overall Winner for the TechLaunch category.
