NUSMed Postdoctoral Association presents the first of its Mental Well-being Series on the Imposter Syndrome – when the perfectionist feels like a fraud and how to overcome it. A condition of being in self-doubt and feeling severely inadequate, attributing their success to sheer luck, something more than 70% in academia are estimated to suffer from at some point in their career.
How to go from ‘Am I Valued?’ to ‘I am Valuable!’
This webinar aims to raise self-awareness and self-worth, enabling individuals to move forward in any sphere of life with higher self-confidence and reassurance.
What comes to your mind when you hear ‘Enough is Enough’? Most often this phrase conveys the meaning that ‘I have had enough’ and implies a frustrated state of mind. Now try looking at it from the perspective of ‘Enoughness’. It can convey a different connotation, for example, ‘this is good enough or I am good enough’. Enoughness is the state or condition of being enough, sufficient, adequate. When one is not in this state, they could experience Imposter syndrome which can affect anyone, regardless of their success.
This webinar is about embracing the leader within and emerging with unwavering self-belief. Key takeaways would be higher self-awareness, understanding specific patterns related to Imposter syndrome and strategies to overcome and ignite the leader within.
